Yucca and Cacti

Hey this is Arizona. You have just got to have some kind of Cactus. The big green thing in the backgroung that looks like an octopus is the Yucca. The other one is just a Cactus, probably prickly pear.

My bill is $58.65 lower than the average.

Congratulations! Your electric bill is below this month's average electric bill for similarly sized homes served by SRP. Not only are you saving money for yourself, but you are helping to conserve precious resources.A variety of factors influence the size of your electric bill. These include the level of insulation in your home; the size, number, and orientation of windows, and the degree to which they are shaded; the number of people living in your home; the operating condition, design efficiency, fuel source, and temperature setting of your air conditioning and heating systems; the number of refrigerators and freezers that you maintain, and their ages; and the fuel source used for cooking, laundry, and water heating.

Save money at CVS and Walgreens

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that you can save money at Walgreens and CVS and Fry's.

How much did I pay? Nothing out of my pocket actually. I know you want to know how I did this. I have saved a lot of money in the past but did not use my blog to post my savings. Let's start in the middle. I had a refund from Walgreens from the Easy-Saver catalog for $56.59. Walgreens will give you an extra %10 cash back if the refund is put on a gift card.

Take a look at my savings

I bought: on the first transacton:

2 packages of Huggies Diapers-use
@ $10.00 each minus (2) $5.00 coupons

1 packages of theHuggies Wipes (Giant pack)
@ $6.00 each minus (1) $3.00 coupon

2 roll-on Dry Ideas
@ $2.29 each minus (2) $2.00 coupons

6 Orbit gums
Easy saver coupon (3) for .99

2 Glade Sense and Spray @ 7.99 minus (2) $4.00 Easy saver coupon and (2) $4.00 manuafacturer's coupon
1 Glade Lasting Impressions(holder and refill) @$7.99 minus (2) $ 4.00 Easy saver coupon and (2) $4.00 manufacturer's coupon (made .2 cents)

Total that I owe: $15.54

Used the gift card with a value of $56.59
balance left on gift card: $41.05
Register Rewards good on next purchase $10.00

I did not used the register rewards on the purchase below:

On the second transaction I bought:
2 packages of Huggies Diapers-use@ $10.00 each minus (2) $5.00 coupons
1 package of the Huggies Wipes (Giant pack)@ $6.00 each minus (1) $3.00 coupon

Gift card brought forward: $41.05
Total that I owe: $13.00
balance left on gift card: $28.05

Register rewards good on next purchase: $10.00.
So I earned $20.00 in register rewards and paid nothing out of my pocket.

$20.00 in RR and $28.05 on my gift card, I still have $48.05 to spend.

Always use your coupons with items on sale. You can develop your own scenerios but I will give you some in the future.

I hope this blog site can be a teaching tool for young housewives and grandmothers.
